As Christians we need to understand the value and importance of Baptism in our lives.. The bible teaches us there is a correlation between circumcision and baptism, how they overlap and how both signs find their fulfillment in Christ. The identities that the world have to offer are hollow and empty, but the one in whom we can find our true identity is in Jesus.
