King Ahaz faced a time of darkness and trouble. Instead of looking for help to God Most High, he sought to align Judah with the great nation of Assyria. Instead of bringing help to Judah the darkness only grew. In the midst of the darkness God promised to send us a Son, born of a woman yet God Almighty. He has overcome the darkness. Let us walk in the Light of the Son of God and not lose faith as King Ahaz did.
