What do you want to be saved from this Christmas? What kind of savior are you looking for? Someone to save you from bad circumstances or poor health or a host of other problems? Jesus is a savior who is concerned about justice, oppression, poverty, broken societies and broken people, but he did not come first and foremost to fix all these things. He came to fix the cause of all these things.
