What do Jesus and a rooster have in common? When Jesus was arrested and many came forward to give false testimony about him, Peter denied him with greater & greater intensity. A nearby rooster, faithful to that for which it was created, sounded out in Peter's ears the truth of his ficklenss. Jesus also, faithful to his calling, maintained a truthful witness about who he was citing Daniel 7. That is not the end of the story.
